Polaris Sportsman 500 Temperature Sensor Location
Polaris Sportsman 500 Temperature Sensor Location. Ok the 6 amp fuse is for the ecm the 15 amp fuse is for the cluster one of the 20 amp is main power the outher 20 amp should be for the starter and charging circuit.your over heating problem could be in the fan temp sensor you will find it on the left side of the machine on top of the thermostat housing , take and disconnect the plug on it and jumper the two wires togather with. It senses air temp and barometric pressure, and sends a signal to the ecu so that the ecu can adjust the fuel accordingly.

The bleed screw is on top of the theromostat housing. It senses air temp and barometric pressure, and sends a signal to the ecu so that the ecu can adjust the fuel accordingly. Fit the following polaris models:
Some Are Located In The Radiator And Some Are Mounted On The Side Of The Engine.
Sportsman 570 efi thermistor temp sensor. Blank, key, series 2000, 2100, 6700, 6800 note: This is a two wire unit.

Okay thank you for the electrical schematic, i have found both the orange/black & the red/black wires as they are directly wired together bypassing the temp sensor which makes sense why the fan is on 100 percent of time, now what is the name of the part or piece that plugs into the temp sensor pigtail, i presume this will have the 2 wires so the power is routed through. I clamped the hose before and after where i put the sender, cut it and slipped it in. (you save ) (no reviews yet) write a review.

This is located on the left side of the engine on the cylinder.
